For the Achterhoekse Bosksopholler, Rooymans Neckwear developed a pair of suspenders that perfectly reflects the region’s down-to-earth mentality. The motto “standing on your own two feet” was translated both literally and proudly into custom-made suspenders featuring the recognizable pattern of the Achterhoek flag.
The original concept came from Hans Gerritsen, who was looking for an accessory that would express both humor and identity. Within a short timeframe, we created suspenders that combine exactly that: bold, functional, and unmistakably rooted in the Achterhoek region.
A project that demonstrates how a simple yet strong design can showcase regional pride in a contemporary way.
